1. Scope of Services
DS Packers provides relocation and logistics services including but not limited to:
Corporate & Office Shifting
Moving Household Goods
IT Equipment Movement
Vehicle Transportation
Storage & Warehousing
Moving Pets
Each service is carried out by trained professionals under the Mak Removals operational framework.
2. Quotes and Estimates
All quotations provided through the website forms, telephone, or email are provisional quotes based only on details provided by the customer.
The final price will rely on various factors, including volume of goods, distance, type of service chosen, floor access, packaging needs, and any additional requests.
DS Packers reserves the right to change and emend quotations in cases of significant discrepancies between the information provided and the actual one.
3. Booking and Payment
A booking confirmation is necessary for scheduling the moving services.
It is usual to ask for an advance payment at the time of booking, with the balance due either before or on delivery.
Payment can be done through bank transfer, UPI, or online payment gateway.
All transactions are processed securely, and invoices will be provided.
Failure to make prompt payment may result in delay or cancellation of service.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers can reschedule or cancel the booking with the support team.
Any cancellations made less than 48 hours from the date booked could be subject to a cancellation fee to cover operational costs.
DS Packers may cancel or postpone a service at times in the event of some unforeseen circumstance: Natural calamities, Transport strike, Safety-related issues.
5. Packing and Handling
We assure safe transportation of goods by using high-quality packing materials.
The fragile, valuable, or sensitive items are declared prior to packing.
We are not responsible for damages involving incorrect declarations, faulty, inadequate, or improper packing-if self-packed, or third-party handling.
6. Transit and Delivery
The delivery timelines are estimated based on the route, distance, and logistics conditions.
Delays due to weather, road closures, or vehicle breakdowns are sometimes unavoidable and will be communicated promptly.
Clients shall be present or have an authorized representative at the delivery address during unloading and verification.
7. Insurance and Liability
Transit insurance is optional but highly recommended.
Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery in the event of loss or damages.
Liability is limited to the insurance coverage opted for or otherwise restricted to service charges paid for that move.
DS Packers shall not be liable for indirect losses including emotional distress, data loss, or missed business opportunities.
8. Storage and Warehousing
Storage services are billed either per month or per week depending on the agreement.
Items left beyond the agreed duration will attract additional charges.
The clients must keep contact information updated and clear the dues before retrieval.
9. Pet Relocation
Pet relocation is done with utmost care, keeping in view the safety and welfare standards.
Valid health and vaccination certificates are required for all clients before travel.
While we observe best practices, we will not be held liable for any stress-related problems or other illnesses that may arise from the move.
